Is Mom the center of your world?
For the military mom in your life.
What is your Mom’s style?
For the classic, simple Mom.
Feminine and understated.
Celebrate life with the one who brung ya into it!
I’m also happy to take requests for a particular picture, either to show someone as a gift idea or just to help you envision your own ideas. If I have it in stock, I’ll stage it and snap it for you, just ask!
He’s back. See that tiny little bird? He’s a mockingbird. Last year he camped out right outside the bedroom and shared his melodious repertoire all summer long. Every. Night. This year he’s a couple of blocks away… for now.
Speaking of melodious repertoires, this photo reminds me of one of my favorite indie bands from my days as a West Coast girl. Please enjoy this lovely live version of “Bird on a Wire,” by Rogue Wave. This is a live performance at Easy Street Records in Seattle, which happens to be founded by a dear friend of mine, and is one of the things I miss the very most about that city.
If you prefer, here’s a link to the studio version, which also rules in a different way.
Today’s spring-pic-a-day needs no further comment. This is my neighbors tree.
Spring project in the works. It will be vibrant! More to come. I’m already kicking myself though, for forgetting to take a “before” picture. Kinda like with my birthday cake post. I suppose that this whole “step-by-step” photography thing is going to take some practice. I’ll try to find a similar “before” online so you get the idea. It’s a major transformation of a cheap little thing, but so far I am thrilled! Would that I could speed the drying time and show you today, but alas, we must be patient.
My one solar light that still works from last year.
Pictures of the moon never do it justice, but seriously. It’s like daylight out here. The moon is kind of a big deal for me. My Marine and I carried on a long distance relationship before I moved to be with him. We would look at the moon together on the phone and pretend we weren’t three time zones apart. Even on nights like this when he’s just at work a few miles away, it still makes me smile.
No time today for taking new pictures, so here’s one more Home Depot shot. I cannot believe I was able to come home empty-handed. Self-discipline at its finest!
My whatever tree, a photo by charmingchris on Flickr.
This is my whatever tree. A “not-redbud” that’s misshapen from most angles. Mom says it may be a flowering plum. Any other guesses?
Garden center, round two. Home Depot this time.
It’s a big day in O2 world, my friends. Our new Spring items are officially available. And they. are. awesome. I’m super excited. However, keep in mind that we designers weren’t able to pre-order any of this. That means, if you’re wanting to get your hands on the new goodies–or, if you’re like me and are trying to hurry and swipe up a few of the recently retired items before they’re gone for good–you’ll have to visit the site, or get in touch with me so I can place your order. I hope to have some new inventory in by next week, but the response to this launch has overwhelmed the home office, so the shipping schedule is a tad bit up in the air.
What’s your new favorite item? Which of the retired items will you miss the most?
